Modern Japanese Master Bedroom - A Design Exhibit

'WabiSabi' is more than just a decorating style or an aesthetic principle. To the Japanese it is a Philosophy and a way of life. 'Wabi' appreciates the beauty and tranquility in asymmetry, simplicity, naturalness and modesty. 'Sabi' values the passage of time, and beauty hidden beneath the surface of what we actually see, even in what we first perceive as broken. Together 'WabiSabi' nurtures an overarching Philosophy of approaching life. An awakening of aesthetic sensibility. The beauty in imperfection and impermanence that time leave behind.
